PHILADELPHIA, PA — Phenom is accepting submissions through Nov. 13 for its 2027 HR Awards, expanding the sixth-year program to 11 categories focused on how its customers are using artificial intelligence and automation to change hiring, workforce management and HR operations.

The awards are open to Phenom customers worldwide, with winners scheduled to be recognized at IAMPHENOM 2027, the company’s annual conference in Philadelphia from April 20-22.

Phenom is emphasizing measurable business results in the awards program, including faster hiring, higher employee engagement, reductions in costs and time, and the expansion of AI projects from pilot programs to enterprise-wide deployments.

The 11 categories span strategic initiatives, team performance and executive leadership.

Six strategic categories — AI Agent Pioneer, Automation MVP, Best Hiring Experience, Employer Brand of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Co-Developer of the Year — focus on uses of AI and automation ranging from reducing manual work to improving recruiting and developing new Phenom capabilities.

Three team awards will recognize talent acquisition, talent management and HR information technology organizations. Those categories emphasize hiring performance, employee retention and internal mobility, as well as the technology infrastructure supporting HR operations.

The remaining categories are Talent Executive of the Year and Best of the Best, which focus on broader workforce strategy and the use of AI across hiring, employee development and retention.

“Every organization is trying to figure out how to successfully operationalize AI,” Christina Brown, Phenom’s vice president and general manager of Global Customer Value, said. “In human resources, the companies that have answered that question did it with AI that understands their business, their roles and how work actually gets done.”

Brown said experiences from Phenom customers have become a resource for other organizations evaluating how to deploy the technology.

“Six years into these awards, our customers’ insights remain one of the most valuable resources they can share with their peers and the industry as a whole,” she said.
