WILLOW GROVE, PA — Nolan Painting has expanded into Willow Grove with a new operations center serving Montgomery and Bucks counties, a move the residential painting company says supports its growth strategy as it marks a decade of recognition as a Philadelphia Inquirer Top Workplace.
The company opened the facility at 2313 Wyandotte Road to improve service for homeowners north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike while reducing commute times for employees assigned to those communities. The expansion comes as Nolan Painting celebrates its 10th consecutive Top Workplace award, based on employee feedback.
The Willow Grove location is intended to support the company’s full-time workforce model, which differs from many contractors that rely on subcontractors. Nolan Painting, founded in 1979, organizes its painters into local teams serving residential customers across southeastern Pennsylvania.
“Our new Willow Grove location allows us to better serve homeowners north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike while creating a central hub for the teams that support those communities every day,” President and Chief Executive Officer Jon Meyer stated.
Founder Kevin Nolan said the company’s continued expansion reflects its emphasis on employing full-time workers with benefits rather than subcontractors.
“Growth creates opportunities that attract great people and develops strong leaders across our organization,” Nolan stated. “As we grow, we can serve more customers with a team that truly cares.”
To mark the opening, Nolan Painting hosted a community open house Friday, inviting residents, customers and business partners to tour the facility and meet members of its painting, estimating and color consulting teams, along with representatives from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore.
The event also served as a donation drive for the Willow Grove Food Bank, with attendees encouraged to contribute household essentials, including tomato sauce, bar soap, toothpaste and toilet paper. Donors were entered into a raffle for a “Painter for a Day” certificate.
Nolan Painting indicated the expansion is part of its broader investment in staffing and operational infrastructure as it continues serving homeowners throughout the region.
