The restrictions are part of a $36 million project to replace the two bridges that carry Route 420 over Darby Creek between Prospect Park Borough and Tinicum Township.

No detour has been announced, but drivers should expect delays as traffic merges through the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to plan extra time, particularly during peak travel periods, and seek alternate routes when possible.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions warrant.

Commuters traveling through the area should remain alert for changing traffic patterns and reduced lane capacity throughout the construction period.
