MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers traveling U.S. 422 through Limerick and Upper Providence townships should prepare for six nights of lane closures beginning Sunday, September 13, as crews continue paving a 4.4-mile section of the highway.

Drivers should plan extra time because backups and delays are expected through the work zone. The schedule depends on weather conditions.
The restrictions are part of a $6.2 million project to resurface and repair 4.4 miles of U.S. 422. Work includes milling, applying a bituminous overlay, restoring pavement markings, reinstalling edge-line rumble strips, and completing base repairs where needed.
Allan Myers Inc., of Worcester, is the general contractor. The project is financed entirely with state funds.
