LANSDALE, PA — Lansdale is set to host its largest sidewalk sale event, benefiting Marvin’s Home, a nonprofit dedicated to creating and furnishing homes for young adults transitioning from foster care or homelessness. The sale will take place on November 9-10 and 16-17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, at Home on Main, located at 810 West Main Street, Lansdale, PA.

Home on Main, a furniture and accessory reseller, is moving locations and needs to clear its current 10,000-square-foot warehouse and store. The sale promises substantial bargains on items such as chairs, tables, art, and other home goods. Proceeds from the event will fully support Marvin’s Home’s mission, ensuring that the nonprofit can continue providing essential furnishings for those transitioning to independent living.

Founder Mel McDaniel highlighted the significance of the event: “People are going to walk out with some unbelievable bargains, but the best part: 100% of proceeds from this massive indoor and outdoor sidewalk sale will go to Marvin’s Home.”

Since its inception, Marvin’s Home has furnished 83 homes for young adults, transforming empty spaces into welcoming environments. The organization relies heavily on donations from McDaniel’s interior design clients and other contributors throughout the region.

“This could be the largest sidewalk sale Lansdale has ever seen,” McDaniel enthused. “We’re excited for this transition as we continue to help make homes for those who are aging out of the foster care system.”

The event highlights Marvin’s Home’s efforts to support young adults in need, providing them with a vital stepping stone toward a stable and independent future.
