Five Below

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE) has added Shake Shack Chief Executive Officer Rob Lynch to its board of directors, bringing additional consumer retail and restaurant industry experience to the discount retailer as it continues pursuing long-term store growth.

The company disclosed that Lynch joined the board as an independent director effective immediately, increasing the board’s membership to nine directors.

The appointment comes as Five Below continues expanding its national footprint and refining its merchandising and customer acquisition strategies in a competitive value-retail environment.

Lynch has served as chief executive officer and a board member of Shake Shack since May 2024. His prior executive experience includes leading Papa John’s International and serving in senior leadership roles at Arby’s Restaurant Group, Taco Bell, H.J. Heinz, and Procter & Gamble.
