BROOMALL, PA — Factor4 is integrating its gift card and loyalty technology with Tri-City Retail Systems’ MyPOS Connect platform, extending physical and digital gift card capabilities across participating retailers’ in-store and online sales channels.
The integration will allow MyPOS Connect retailers to sell and redeem gift cards and process balance inquiries through their retail systems. Online redemption is also supported, connecting gift card activity across physical stores and ecommerce operations.
MyPOS Connect serves specialty retailers ranging from independent stores to multi-location and enterprise businesses. Its cloud-based platform combines point-of-sale, omnichannel sales, inventory management, purchasing, customer engagement and reporting functions.
The platform also connects retailers’ point-of-sale systems with ecommerce platforms and other third-party applications.
Factor4’s integration adds its gift card and loyalty functions to that technology environment, allowing merchants to manage physical and digital gift cards through MyPOS Connect rather than treating store and online transactions as separate channels.
“Our integration gives those merchants the ability to offer physical and digital gift cards, balance inquiries, and redemption across both their in-store and online channels,” Factor4 CEO Dan Battista stated.
Tri-City Retail Systems Managing Director Michael Steg described supporting both channels as a factor behind the integration.
“Gift cards have become an important part of the customer experience for retailers, and we wanted to provide our MyPOS Connect customers with a solution that could support both their in-store and online needs,” Steg stated.
Factor4 provides gift card and loyalty technology, while Tri-City Retail Systems operates the MyPOS Connect retail point-of-sale platform.
