BRYN MAWR, PA — Essential Utilities Inc. (NYSE: WTRG) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.3606 per share, payable December 1, 2026, maintaining a shareholder distribution record spanning more than eight decades.
The Bryn Mawr-based water, wastewater and natural gas utility said shareholders of record as of November 10 will be eligible to receive the payment.
The declared dividend represents an annualized distribution of $1.4424 per share, assuming the quarterly rate remains unchanged.
Essential has paid quarterly cash dividends for more than 80 consecutive years and increased its dividend 36 times over the past 35 years, according to the company.
The dividend declaration continues the company’s practice of returning capital to shareholders through recurring cash payments.
Essential operates under the Aqua and Peoples brands, providing water, wastewater and natural gas services to approximately 5.5 million people across nine states.
The company is among the largest publicly traded providers of water, wastewater and natural gas services in the United States.
