Dermatology Partners Expands Coverage Through Keystone First Agreements

Dermatology Partners

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Dermatology Partners said it has entered into agreements with Keystone First CHIP and Community Health Plan to expand access to dermatologic care across Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The agreements allow patients enrolled in those plans to begin scheduling appointments at all Pennsylvania offices, with expanded availability at select locations starting May 1, the company said.

The expansion is expected to increase access to care for hundreds of thousands of patients, including children enrolled in the Children’s Health Insurance Program and older adults covered by Keystone First.

Keystone First serves more than 500,000 members in Southcentral and Southeastern Pennsylvania, including more than 180,000 individuals age 55 and older, according to the company.

“Access to dermatologic care can be life-changing, and in some cases, life-saving,” said Andy Frankel, chief operating officer of Dermatology Partners.

The company said the agreements aim to improve access to specialty care for patients who have faced barriers to treatment.

Additional appointment availability will begin May 1 at locations in Ridley Park, Roxborough, Doylestown, Chadds Ford, Torresdale, Kutztown, Port Richmond, Plymouth Meeting, and Schnecksville.
