PHILADELPHIA, PA — Datavault AI Inc. (Nasdaq: DVLT) appointed Jeffrey Tirman, whose family office holds 26 million company shares, to its board of directors effective October 12, 2026, bringing a significant shareholder with corporate restructuring experience into its governance following the acquisition of NYIAX Inc.
Tirman was designated for the board position by NYIAX as part of Datavault AI’s recently completed acquisition of the company. He previously served as a NYIAX director and brings more than 35 years of experience in international investment management, corporate finance and restructuring.
His appointment adds expertise in capital allocation, balance sheet management and corporate transactions as Datavault AI expands its operations in data monetization, digital credentialing and real-world asset tokenization.
Tirman’s family office, Abri Capital Ltd., holds 26 million Datavault AI shares, giving him a direct financial interest in the company’s performance.
Datavault AI Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel Bradley said Tirman’s experience would support the company’s financial and operational strategy.
“His experience will be particularly valuable as we continue to expand our operations and evaluate opportunities to strengthen our financial position,” Bradley said.
Tirman currently serves as chief executive officer of Elan d.o.o., a Slovenia-based sporting goods manufacturer, where he has overseen restructuring and operational changes following the company’s acquisition by institutional investors in 2015.
His work at Elan has included financial stabilization, management reorganization, governance changes, operational improvements across four business divisions and multiple balance sheet refinancings. He has also been involved in preparing the business for a potential sale.
Tirman founded Abri Capital in 2016 as a private investment firm managing investments across asset classes and securities in international markets.
He previously co-founded Rhodium Capital Management Ltd., a London-based investment manager specializing in European and Central and Eastern European, Middle Eastern and African credit markets.
From 1997 to 2012, Tirman served as president of Talisman Capital, overseeing investment strategies and corporate restructuring assignments for institutional clients.
His transaction experience includes public listings, private financings, acquisitions, corporate spin-offs, debt refinancings and creditor committee leadership.
“As a shareholder, I have a vested interest in the Company’s success,” Tirman said. “My career has focused on helping businesses navigate complex financial and operational challenges, strengthening their capital structures and positioning themselves for profitable growth.”
Tirman also served as an adjunct professor of advanced corporate finance at HEC Lausanne from 2009 to 2014. He holds an MBA in corporate accounting from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Datavault AI operates an artificial intelligence platform focused on data monetization, credentialing and the tokenization of real-world assets. The board appointment follows its acquisition of NYIAX and places a former director of the acquired company in a position to participate in Datavault AI’s financial and strategic oversight.
