PHILADELPHIA, PA — Comcast Business has launched the Comcast Business Innovation Lab to develop and test enterprise technology solutions in collaboration with customers and partners including Dell Technologies, Digital Realty, and Expedient.
The initiative was introduced at the company’s 2026 Analyst Conference and is designed to address enterprise needs in areas such as connectivity, computing infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
The lab will focus on co-developing and validating solutions in live environments, with defined evaluation and deployment milestones.
Three initial programs target key areas of enterprise technology, including edge computing, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, and managed infrastructure services.
The program with Dell Technologies focuses on deploying managed edge computing systems for artificial intelligence and real-time applications using on-premises infrastructure.
A second program with Digital Realty is aimed at enabling connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments through a unified data center platform.
A third program with Expedient provides managed infrastructure services, including private cloud environments, artificial intelligence operations, and disaster recovery systems.
Bob Victor, chief product officer of Comcast Business, said the initiative is intended to address increasing complexity in enterprise network design and infrastructure decisions.
“Enterprise network design has become one of the most consequential technology decisions a company makes,” Victor said.
Comcast Business plans to expand the lab with additional programs aligned to emerging enterprise technology needs.
