COATESVILLE, PA — Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church will hold its annual Fall Food Festival on November 14, 2026, in Coatesville, using a preorder and drive-through format to raise funds while continuing a community tradition centered on Ukrainian and Eastern European cuisine.

The fundraiser will operate from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 392 Charles St., with online ordering available through November 11.

The festival offers traditional foods associated with Ukrainian and Eastern European households, including pierogies, stuffed cabbage known as halupki, and noodles with cabbage known as halushki. Dessert rolls, soups, and additional prepared foods will also be available.

The event draws support from Chester County residents with Eastern European family backgrounds, many of whom associate the dishes with meals prepared by parents and grandparents. The annual sale also provides an opportunity for the church to maintain cultural food traditions through its fundraising activities.

Unlike a conventional festival with on-site dining and vendors, the November 14 event will use advance orders and drive-through pickup. The arrangement allows customers to reserve food before the event and collect their purchases during the designated hours.

Online ordering opened October 28, with the church directing customers to its website and Facebook event page for ordering information.

The church also issued a warning about unauthorized solicitations involving vendor spaces. Organizers stated that the festival has no available vendor openings and that legitimate communications would come directly from the church’s official page rather than private individuals.

The warning follows messages posted on the church’s social media page by individuals claiming to accept payments for vendor participation. Organizers cautioned prospective participants against responding to those solicitations.
