PHILADELPHIA, PA — Oleh Ros marks his first anniversary as Tandem Operations Manager at Skydive Maple Grove, also known as iSkydive. Ros, who moved to the U.S. in 2023 for this role, brings an impressive track record of over 5,000 jumps, mostly tandem, far exceeding the national average for tandem skydivers.

A member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA), Ros is a certified and highly trained instructor. At the Miami facility, he oversees operations, ensuring quality and safety. His duties include managing crew operations, coaching skydivers, and maintaining high safety standards. The role of a tandem instructor is crucial in building trust with jumpers, enhancing their overall experience.

Ros stands out in a field with only 206 skydiving centers in the U.S., and just 115 focusing on tandem jumps. He started his skydiving career in Kiev, Ukraine, at age 20 and became a professional tandem instructor in 2016. His experience includes Accelerated Free Fall (AFF), Military Freefall School, and large formation skydiving events in Ukraine and China.

Ros’s career also spans several countries, including the Dominican Republic, China, and Mexico. He completed his tandem instructor training eight years ago and has developed a training manual to improve student results efficiently. His certifications include the Paraavis tandem instructor rating, USPA Sigma Vector rating, and AFFI rating.

Ros’s leadership and expertise continue to elevate Skydive Maple Grove’s reputation, making a significant impact on the skydiving community.
