Work is scheduled to begin in the southbound lanes before shifting to the northbound side later in the day. Inspectors will use a specialized bridge inspection crane operating from the roadway to complete the evaluation.

While no detour is planned, motorists should expect delays as traffic narrows through the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to plan extra time for trips through the area and remain alert for changing traffic patterns.

PennDOT reminds travelers to obey posted work zone signs and use caution when approaching inspection operations to help protect both workers and fellow motorists.
