WYOMISSING, PA — Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLPI) has announced the promotion of Brandon Moore to the role of President, adding to his current responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer. Effective immediately, Moore will continue to report to Peter Carlino, the company’s Chairman and CEO.

Peter Carlino expressed his enthusiasm for Moore’s expanded role, stating, “Brandon has played an instrumental role in all of GLPI’s growth and success since we established North America’s first gaming-focused real estate investment trust over ten years ago.” Carlino commended Moore’s extensive experience in the gaming industry and his pivotal contributions to the company, including his involvement in the tax-free spin that led to the creation of GLPI.

Moore joined GLPI in 2014 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, after serving as Vice President, Senior Corporate Counsel at Penn National Gaming, Inc. (now PENN Entertainment, Inc.). At Penn, he was a key player in managing transactional, regulatory, and legal matters. His prior experience includes providing legal counsel at Ballard Spahr, LLP, where he advised on a wide range of compliance and regulatory issues.

With a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Moore has been a driving force behind GLPI’s strategic initiatives. Carlino added, “Brandon has been a key driver of the approach our excellent finance, accounting, development, and legal teams take as they work closely with tenants and seek to identify and consummate new transactions for GLPI.”

As GLPI continues to expand its portfolio, Moore’s leadership is expected to be invaluable in guiding the company’s growth trajectory.
