AMBLER, PA — Bradford White Water Heaters is expanding its tankless water-heater portfolio with new 150,000 BTU-per-hour Infiniti GS and GR models aimed at giving contractors more installation options across residential and commercial applications.
The Ambler-based manufacturer said both models can be installed indoors or outdoors and configured for either natural gas or propane. The units use stainless steel heat exchangers and are ENERGY STAR certified, with ultra-low nitrogen oxide emissions.
The product launch broadens Bradford White’s tankless lineup as the company seeks to cover a wider range of applications for contractors and their customers.
“We continue to grow our tankless line to have a more comprehensive offering for contractors and the customers they serve,” Louise Prader, senior director of product management, stated. She said the GS and GR models provide additional flexibility in where and how the units can be installed.
The GR model adds a built-in recirculation pump and dedicated recirculation connection designed to reduce the amount of time users wait for hot water at faucets and showers. Bradford White said the system can also reduce water waste by limiting the amount of unused cold water discharged while users wait for hot water.
Both models offer multiple venting material and diameter options and accessible air and inlet-water filters intended to simplify servicing. They are also low-lead compliant under NSF/ANSI 372.
Bradford White said the GS and GR models are designed in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirements for compatibility with manufactured homes.
“Convenience is becoming just as important as efficiency for homeowners choosing a water heating system,” Prader stated, pointing to the GR model’s recirculation capability as a way to reduce hot-water wait times and unnecessary water use.
