CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Boomi and ServiceNow expanded their partnership to integrate Boomi’s data activation and enterprise connectivity tools with ServiceNow’s Workflow Data Fabric, as software vendors compete to position themselves as infrastructure providers for enterprise AI deployment.
The agreement makes Boomi a launch partner in ServiceNow’s Workflow Data Network Passport Program, allowing customers to access Boomi integration capabilities directly through the ServiceNow AI Platform.
The partnership targets a growing challenge for corporations adopting AI systems: connecting fragmented enterprise data across legacy applications, cloud platforms, and operational workflows in real time.
ServiceNow stated the collaboration is intended to simplify multi-system integration and improve enterprise access to operational data used by AI agents and automated workflows.
“Together ServiceNow and Boomi are solving for customers’ end-to-end connectivity requirements across the enterprise and simplifying multi-system integration, reducing the cost to activate data and accelerating intelligent workflows at scale on the ServiceNow AI Platform,” Pramod Mahadevan, vice president of data and analytics product ecosystem at ServiceNow, stated in the announcement.
Under the expanded arrangement, Boomi will extend ServiceNow’s Workflow Data Fabric by connecting enterprise systems outside the ServiceNow ecosystem, synchronizing master data through Boomi Data Hub, and supporting ServiceNow Zero Copy integrations with platforms including Snowflake and RaptorDB.
The companies also stated the partnership will consolidate procurement and deployment under a unified commercial structure.
Lightedge, identified as a joint customer of both companies, is using the combined platform to consolidate legacy integration tools and modernize its customer relationship management infrastructure.
“By consolidating multiple integration tools into a unified platform, we’ve reduced complexity, improved agility, and ensured our data flows directly into the workflows that drive our business,” Lightedge CIO Michael Gallagher stated.
The expanded alliance reflects increasing competition among enterprise software providers to control AI orchestration, workflow automation, and enterprise data management as corporations scale generative AI initiatives beyond pilot programs.
“The future of enterprise AI won’t be defined by models alone, it will be defined by how well organizations can activate and govern their data across the systems that run their businesses,” Boomi Chairman and CEO Steve Lucas stated.
