Your Safety First: Beware of Recalled 7-Eleven Brownies with Hidden Walnut Risks

FDA Alerts Public to Recall of 7-Eleven Fudge Brownies Over Allergy ConcernsSubmitted Image

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a voluntary recall by Innovation Bakers, LLC, based in Fullerton, California, involving one day’s production of its 3.5 oz packs of 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie. The recall is due to the presence of undeclared walnuts, posing a significant risk to consumers who suffer from walnut allergies.

This recall specifically targets 2,081 single-serve units distributed solely to 7-Eleven outlets in the Southern California area, with deliveries made on September 8 and 9, 2024. The affected product is identifiable by the Lot Code: Best By Wednesday 0911. It is important to note that no other 7-Eleven products are involved in this recall.

The issue surfaced when it was discovered that the packaging failed to disclose the presence of walnuts, which could lead to severe or life-threatening allergic reactions in susceptible individuals. Despite the oversight, no illnesses have been reported to date.

Consumers who may have purchased the implicated 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie packs are strongly advised against consuming the product. They can safely dispose of it, return it to their purchase location for a full refund, or seek further assistance from Innovation Bakers’ Customer Service.
