PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming resurfacing operations on multiple state highways in Chester, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties. The work, which includes lane closures with flagging, is scheduled to begin this weekend and continue through next week, impacting several key roadways.

Chester County
  • Springton Road (between U.S. 322 and Route 282, West Brandywine and Wallace townships): Lane closures with flagging from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11.
  • Green Valley Road (between Route 82 and Brandywine Creek Road, Newlin Township): Lane closures with flagging from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11.
Bucks County
  • Route 332 (Richboro Road) (between Holland Road and Hanover Street, Newtown Township): Lane closures with flagging from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16.
Philadelphia
  • Richmond Street (between Lewis Street and Bridge Street): Lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13, through Friday, May 16.
  • Arch Street (between Front Street and 15th Street): Lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Tuesday, May 13, through Friday, May 16.

Drivers are advised to plan for delays while traveling through work zones and to allow extra time during peak hours. All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be adjusted as needed.
