WAYNE, PA — Radian Group Inc. (NYSE: RDN) is expanding access to its mortgage insurance pricing by integrating its Radian Guaranty Inc. quotes into Lender Price, bringing the insurer’s risk-based rates directly into a platform used by banks, lenders, credit unions and mortgage brokers.
The integration allows Lender Price users to obtain Radian mortgage insurance quotes without leaving their existing pricing workflow, reducing the need to move between separate systems when evaluating loan scenarios.
Quotes are available through RADAR Rates, Radian’s proprietary risk-based pricing model. The system analyzes individual loan and borrower characteristics to produce mortgage insurance pricing based on a loan’s risk profile and attributes.
Traditional rate-card pricing is also available through the integration for lenders that use that approach.
“Today’s lenders expect pricing tools that are fast, intuitive, and integrated into the platforms they use every day,” Radian Guaranty Co-Head of Mortgage Insurance Steve Keleher said.
Keleher said embedding the company’s quoting capabilities into Lender Price is intended to help lenders compare scenarios more efficiently and reduce friction in mortgage origination workflows.
Lender Price operates a cloud-based mortgage pricing engine that uses artificial intelligence and is designed to support pricing decisions across lenders and mortgage brokers.
“Integrating Radian’s mortgage insurance quoting capabilities powered by RADAR Rates into our platform gives lenders seamless access to a trusted MI provider as part of a unified origination experience,” Lender Price Chief Strategy Officer Paul Orlando said.
The integration extends Radian’s distribution within mortgage-origination technology rather than changing the underlying insurance product, allowing lenders already using Lender Price to incorporate Radian quotes into their existing pricing process.
