WEST CHESTER, PA — Helix Bar Review, an affiliate of AccessLex Institute, has launched a preparation program for internationally trained lawyers and Master of Laws (LL.M.) students seeking admission to the U.S. legal profession, expanding its offerings beyond traditional bar exam review.
The Helix LL.M. program is designed to help students adapt to the U.S. legal system while preparing for bar licensure. According to the organization, the program combines legal skills instruction with bar exam preparation over an extended study period.
Participants receive 18 months of access to academic and skills-based coursework that can be completed alongside LL.M. studies, followed by five months of access to a Helix Bar Review course aligned with the student’s selected bar examination.
The curriculum is intended to address challenges commonly faced by international students, including learning U.S. legal principles, adapting to American law school instruction, strengthening legal English proficiency and preparing for subjects tested on bar examinations.
Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Cassity said the program was developed to provide support throughout an LL.M. student’s academic experience rather than focusing exclusively on bar exam preparation.
“We created a seamless pathway from LL.M. studies to bar exam success — and the opportunities that follow,” Cassity said.
The program is available for purchase immediately, with coursework scheduled to open Oct. 5.
