EXTON, PA — Exton Senior Living has earned IntegraCare’s Silver Level Callbell Award after averaging an in-person response time of 1 minute, 9 seconds to resident assistance requests during the second quarter of 2026, a performance measure the operator uses to evaluate responsiveness to resident needs.

The recognition places the Chester County senior living community among IntegraCare’s higher-performing locations for callbell response time, according to the company. IntegraCare operates 17 senior living communities across three states.

Residents use wearable pendants to request assistance for routine needs or emergencies. The company reported Exton Senior Living averaged a response time of 1 minute, 9 seconds during the quarter.

IntegraCare awards Gold status to communities with an average response time of less than three minutes, while Silver status requires an average below four minutes.

“Every callbell is an opportunity to reassure a resident that they are never alone,” IntegraCare Chief Executive Officer Larry Rouvelas stated. “A timely response is about more than answering a call. It reflects our commitment to providing dependable, compassionate care.”

The company indicated that it publicly posts each community’s daily callbell response performance on its website so residents and families can monitor response times.
