WEST CHESTER, PA — Meradia appointed investment technology veteran Glen Robertson as a director based at F2 Strategy’s West Chester headquarters, adding more than two decades of operations and systems experience as the consulting firm expands its work with asset and wealth managers undertaking technology transformations.
Robertson will lead consulting engagements involving operating-model changes, technology strategy, systems implementation and data initiatives, according to the firm. He will also advise executive teams, support business development and mentor consultants.
The appointment expands Meradia’s expertise with SimCorp systems, which are used by institutional investment managers for investment management operations and technology.
Robertson joins Meradia after 11 years at SimCorp, where he held leadership positions in the U.S., Australia and Singapore. Most recently, he was senior principal service engagement manager, overseeing strategic service engagements and supporting client implementations.
Before SimCorp, Robertson spent eight years at Vanguard in investment operations, business analysis, product development and project leadership. His work there included business transformation projects and new investment product launches.
“Investment managers are accelerating transformation, and they need advisers who understand both the technology and operations required to execute it successfully,” F2 Strategy Chief Executive Officer Ryan Beach said.
Robertson’s hiring comes as Meradia seeks to capture demand from North American investment managers modernizing operating models and enterprise technology. His responsibilities will include developing client relationships and representing the firm at industry events in addition to consulting work.
“This role gives me the opportunity to help clients solve difficult problems and build for the future,” Robertson said.
Robertson holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance from Monash University and has been a SimCorp Certified Professional since 2015.
Meradia is an F2 Strategy company specializing in operations, data and technology consulting for asset and wealth management firms.
