AUDUBON, PA — CertaPro Painters has appointed Teresa Celmer as chief marketing officer and Sydney Davis as chief information officer, strengthening its marketing and technology leadership as the Audubon-based painting franchise company seeks to improve franchise operations and customer acquisition.
The appointments place two executives with experience in multi-location marketing and enterprise technology in charge of functions central to supporting CertaPro’s network of residential and commercial painting franchises across North America.
Celmer will oversee the company’s marketing strategy, including brand development, customer experience and initiatives designed to help individual franchise owners attract and retain customers.
She brings more than 25 years of marketing leadership experience, including positions with BrightStar Care, Ace Hardware, Bosch and Fellowes Brands.
Her responsibilities include coordinating national marketing programs with the business needs of locally operated franchises, where customer acquisition and brand consistency are important to competitive positioning.
Davis will lead CertaPro’s technology infrastructure and business applications, focusing on operational efficiency and systems used by franchise owners and their employees.
She has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience involving digital transformation, enterprise software implementations and integrations across complex organizations.
Her appointment puts technology modernization under dedicated executive leadership as the company works to simplify business processes and improve the tools available to franchise operators.
The leadership changes reflect an emphasis on improving the performance of CertaPro’s existing franchise network alongside broader business growth.
“We’re not investing in talent just to maintain what we’ve built,” said Mike Stone, CertaPro Painters’ president and chief executive officer. “We’re investing in people who can help us take it to the next level.”
Marketing and technology are closely linked operational functions for franchise businesses, which depend on centralized brand management and business systems while relying on independently operated locations to serve customers.
Celmer’s background in franchise and multi-location businesses aligns with the company’s efforts to connect national marketing initiatives with local customer demand.
Davis’ experience implementing enterprise systems is expected to support efforts to streamline operations and provide franchise owners with more effective business applications.
CertaPro Painters operates a residential and commercial painting franchise network across North America. The company identifies itself as the region’s largest painting franchise organization.
The appointments expand its executive leadership capacity in two areas affecting franchise operations, with Celmer responsible for marketing performance and Davis overseeing the technology systems supporting the business.
