BERWYN, PA — AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME) has promoted Narayan Vishwanathan to Vice President and General Manager of its Materials Analysis Division. Vishwanathan brings nearly two decades of experience within AMETEK, including leadership roles in multiple business units.
Most recently, Vishwanathan served as Divisional Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Electron Microscopy Technologies businesses within the division. Prior to that, he held positions such as Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Edax business and Business Manager for the HDR Power Systems business, showcasing his expertise in driving operational success and innovation.
David A. Zapico, Chairman and CEO of AMETEK, praised Vishwanathan’s promotion, stating, “Narayan’s exceptional leadership skills, focus on innovation, and deep operational experience will ensure the continued success and growth of our Materials Analysis Division.”
Vishwanathan joined AMETEK in 2005. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Mumbai, as well as an International MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business.
With his proven track record, Vishwanathan is expected to lead the Materials Analysis Division toward continued growth and innovation.
