Ducklings Early Learning Center

DOWNINGTOWN, PADucklings Early Learning Center will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location in the Eagle community on October 18 with a family-friendly Fall Festival. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 241 Park Road in Downingtown and will feature pumpkin decorating, a bounce house, face painting, a train ride, seasonal refreshments, and photo opportunities with the school’s giant duck mascot, “Kevin.”

Local residents Christiane and Pete Petrillo own the new center, which offers classrooms tailored to infants through pre-K. The program emphasizes whole-child development through Ducklings’ proprietary Here We Grow!™ curriculum, blending play-based learning with structured activities. Indoor gyms and age-specific classrooms are designed to encourage exploration, teamwork, and creativity.

Director Jenna Cross, who brings more than a decade of childcare experience, will lead the Eagle location’s teaching staff. The center’s degreed teachers focus on fostering academic, social, and emotional growth, with daily activities that build confidence, manners, and problem-solving skills.

“We are thrilled to officially open Ducklings Eagle to serve our vibrant, growing community,” said co-owner Christiane Petrillo. “It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re excited to welcome families to a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.”

Families interested in enrollment or additional details can contact the school at (610) 922-1300.
