A. Duie Pyle

WEST CHESTER, PA — In case you missed it, A. Duie Pyle has been named a winner of the American Trucking Associations President’s Trophy, recognizing the company’s safety performance in the large carrier category.

The award is presented annually to one carrier in each mileage class based on safety programs, operational practices, and performance, following a multi-stage evaluation that includes data review, program assessment, and final judging.

Pyle, which previously won five times in the medium-sized carrier class, competed for the first time in the 100-million-mile category this year.

Peter Dannecker, vice president of risk and integrated resources, said the award reflects companywide responsibility for safety.

“Safety across the country’s most challenging freight corridors requires a collective effort that goes far beyond the driver’s seat,” Dannecker said.

The company said its safety approach includes training programs, maintenance practices, and the use of in-vehicle camera systems.

A. Duie Pyle, headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania, provides transportation and logistics services including less-than-truckload shipping, dedicated contract carriage, warehousing, and brokerage.
