BERWYN, PA — Fresh tomatoes, locally raised meats, handmade gifts, live music, food trucks, and children’s activities will fill Bronze Plaza as the Berwyn Farmers’ Market returns for a fourth season of Sunday shopping and community gatherings.
Presented by Culinary Harvest with support from Eadeh Enterprises, the rain-or-shine market will operate from 9 a.m. to noon Sundays through Dec. 20, with no market scheduled for Nov. 29. More than 70 farmers, food producers, artists, and makers are expected to participate throughout the season, with approximately 25 to 30 vendors appearing each week.
Visitors will find farm-fresh produce, pasture-raised meats, baked goods, handmade jewelry, pottery, candles, skin care products, small-batch coffee, prepared meals, and other locally produced items. A rotating lineup of food trucks will offer lunch and take-home options, while weekly children’s activities, charity partners, and educational guests will give families more reasons to linger.
“Culinary Harvest is thrilled to be back with Berwyn Farmers’ Market for our fourth award-winning season on the Main Line,” Culinary Harvest and Berwyn Farmers’ Market co-owner Carlo Luciano said. “We have one of our best lineups ever for summer and fall and into the holiday season with a weekly celebration of all things farm fresh and local.”
The market’s food vendors include Amazing Acres Goat Dairy, Rora’s Sweet Corn, Stonyrun Farms Wagyu, Firefly Forest Bakehouse, Settantatre Pasta & Provisions, Taste of Puebla, Yia Yia’s Baklava, and Urban Garden 215.
Local artists and makers will include Maddy Made Pottery, Helen Ethel Jewelry, Beetle & Bison Artisan Candles, Plant Matter Garden Design, Mixtape Paper Co., The Basement Woodshop, and Tokens of Arcadia Permanent Jewelry. Scheduled food trucks include El Tlaloc, Fire Nashville Hot Chicken, Philly Hots, JT Wilder BBQ, and The Borscht Belt.
Tomatopalooza Celebrates Summer’s Juiciest Crop
The season’s first major themed celebration will arrive Aug. 2 with the return of Tomatopalooza, held in conjunction with National Farmers Market Week.
The tomato-centered morning will feature fresh samples, live music, giveaways, children’s crafts, a food truck, and dishes created around one of summer’s most anticipated crops. Shoppers can expect tomato and goat cheese galettes, locally made sauces, jams, toppings, fresh pasta pairings, stuffed meatballs, pickled tomatoes, and gluten-free options.
Tomatopalooza stickers will be distributed during the event, while a limited supply of Berwyn Farmers’ Market stainless steel water bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The market’s seasonal calendar will continue with Back to School on Aug. 30, AppleFest on Sept. 27, SpookFest on Oct. 25, Pie Fest on Nov. 8, the Gratitude Market on Nov. 22, and the Holiday Market on Dec. 6.
Luciano described the market as more than a weekly shopping destination.
“Our goal for Berwyn Farmers’ Market is to create an immersive shopping and community experience for residents of the Main Line in the heart of Berwyn and Chester County,” he said. “In return, Main Line residents can directly support local producers, artisans and small businesses. It is a win-win for everyone.”
Founded in 2023, the market was created to connect Main Line residents with local farmers and artisans while strengthening regional food systems and supporting independent businesses. Live music will be featured on the first Sunday of each month, and a Fun Zone will offer crafts and other activities for children.
