POTTSTOWN, PA — Pumpkin painting, pony rides, bubbles and wagon rides will fill Warwick County Park as Chester County welcomes autumn with a free day of family activities in the outdoors.
Chester County Parks + Preservation will host Warwick Fall Fest on Sept. 26, bringing entertainment, games, vendors, and food trucks to the 535-acre park near Pottstown.
Families can make their way through pumpkin painting, face painting, fairy hair, inflatables, tabletop games, cornhole and a photo booth. Wagon rides will offer another way to enjoy the park, while Fluffly En Route will bring a Highland cow and pony rides to the festival.
Bubbletopia will add another playful attraction from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Craft vendors will be set up during the festival, and food trucks will have items available for purchase. The food trucks will accept both cash and credit cards.

The festival also gives visitors a reason to explore beyond the activities. Warwick County Park encompasses hardwood forests, meadows, wetlands and French Creek, with miles of multi-use trails and a section of the Horse-Shoe Trail passing through the property.
Signs of Chester County’s iron-making past remain scattered through the landscape. During the 18th and 19th centuries, timber from the area’s woodlands was used to produce charcoal for regional iron furnaces and forges, and remnants of charcoal hearths can still be found along old cart paths.
The park is also home to Pennsylvania’s only surviving Fink Truss. Originally made by Phoenix Iron Works in 1870 for a pedestrian bridge across French Creek, the restored structure now serves as a scenic overlook.
With free activities for children and plenty of room to explore, Warwick Fall Fest combines a traditional community celebration with a day spent among the natural and historic features of one of Chester County’s parks.
