NEW LONDON, PAACT Players will bring Ira Levin’s acclaimed comedy-thriller Deathtrap to the stage this October, marking the company’s fourth production of the season. Performances will run October 10–19 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the New London Methodist Church’s Social Hall.

The play, known for its blend of suspense, sharp wit, and sudden twists, follows Sydney Bruhl, a once-successful playwright facing a dry spell. When he receives a script from a former seminar student that he believes is destined to be a hit, Sydney begins to toy with a sinister idea—claiming the play as his own. What unfolds is a story laced with betrayal, surprise, and dark humor, as Sydney, his wife Myra, and the ambitious young Clifford Anderson are drawn into a deadly game.
