EXTON, PA — Fairies, mixed-up lovers and plenty of Shakespearean mischief are headed outdoors in Exton as SALT Performing Arts transforms Eagleview Town Center into a stage for three free performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The Sept. 25-26 production brings Shakespeare’s comedy into the open air for a roughly two-hour theatrical experience filled with romance, mistaken identities, and the supernatural meddling that sends its characters into comic confusion.
Presented as Shakespeare in the Park, the production is designed as a casual community outing. Audiences can bring blankets or lawn chairs, pack food and drinks, and arrive early to picnic before the performance.
Admission is free through sponsorship from Hankin Group, and no tickets or reservations are required.

All three performances will take place outdoors. SALT encourages theatergoers to check @saltpa on social media for weather-related updates before heading to Eagleview.
Parking is also free, though visitors should allow an additional five to 10 minutes to walk from nearby parking areas to the performance courtyard.
Eagleview Town Center restaurants will operate on their individual schedules during the performances. According to SALT, views of the production from the restaurants will be obstructed, so audience members should plan to watch from the designated performance area.
With an afternoon matinee and two evening performances, the weekend offers families, friends and Shakespeare fans several chances to spread out a blanket, unpack a picnic and spend a couple of hours with one of the playwright’s most playful comedies under the Exton sky.
