Delaware County Community College Hosts Open House at Upper Darby Center

UPPER DARBY, PA — Delaware County Community College (DCCC) has announced an Open House event to be held on Wednesday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at its Upper Darby Center, located at 1570 Garrett Road, just behind the Barclay Square Shopping Center.

The Open House aims to provide prospective students and their families with valuable insights into the college’s programs and career-focused opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to learn about earning a certificate or associate degree in high-demand fields that align with regional hiring needs.

Programs spotlighted at the event will include Allied Health, Business, Culinary Arts, GED preparation, and Workforce Development options such as Biotechnology and Carpentry. These programs are designed to equip students with practical skills and credentials for competitive job markets.

The Open House will also showcase resources for students planning to transfer to four-year institutions, as well as those seeking financial aid or scholarships to cover tuition costs. Additionally, high school students enrolled in dual enrollment programs can discover how to earn college credits while completing their high school education.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with division staff, including representatives from Allied Health (Nursing) and Workforce Development, and learn about specialized support services like the Transfer Office and English Language Learner (ELL) program.

The event will also introduce DCCC’s upcoming Southeast Center in Drexel Hill, set to open in the spring of 2026, which will expand access to its diverse range of programs and workforce training options.
