DOWNINGTOWN, PA — St. Joseph CYO is teaming up with Sow Good Now for its second annual equipment drive, encouraging families to donate outgrown sporting gear to support local youth athletes.
Donations will be collected at 332 Manor Avenue on September 20 before and after the 5:00 p.m. Mass, and on September 21 before and after the 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Masses.
Organizers say the initiative helps ensure children have access to the equipment they need to stay active and engaged in sports, while promoting sustainability through re-use. Sow Good Now will distribute the donated items through its GiveBack events, which provide gear directly to young participants across a variety of sports.
