KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Premier Orthopaedics & Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center has added fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon Claire McDaniel, MD, MBA, expanding its hip and knee replacement practice with a new physician accepting patients at its West Chester office.
McDaniel specializes in primary and complex hip and knee replacement surgery, according to the practice. She is seeing patients at 915 Old Fern Hill Road, Suite 1 B-A, in West Chester.
McDaniel earned a combined medical degree and Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University before completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins. She later completed an Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Rush University.
Her background also includes clinical research. Premier Orthopaedics said McDaniel has authored peer-reviewed publications and received a National Institutes of Health-funded research fellowship.
Christina Vannello, CEO of Premier Orthopaedics & Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, cited McDaniel’s surgical training and research background as factors in the addition.

Premier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center operate more than 40 locations across the Greater Philadelphia region, providing surgical and nonsurgical orthopaedic services along with physical therapy, hand therapy, MRI services and Express Ortho Care.
