WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, leaving a 24-year-old woman injured.
According to authorities, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1100 block of Pleasant Street at approximately 12:23 a.m. on July 5. Shortly afterward, police learned that the victim had arrived at a local hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting, including a possible motive or suspect information, have not yet been released. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and speak with potential witnesses as they work to determine what led to the incident.
