Kennett Square Man Charged with Harassment Over Alleged Threatening Voicemails

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A local man is facing harassment charges following allegations that he left obscene and threatening voicemails aimed at another individual on May 8, 2025.

Kennett Square Police reported that officers were dispatched at approximately 6:52 p.m. in response to the complaint. Authorities reviewed multiple voicemails allegedly left by the suspect, identified as 71-year-old Howard Thomas III. The messages were described as containing obscene language and threats, including a warning for the victim to “watch their back.”

Following the investigation, a criminal complaint charging Thomas with harassment was filed in District Court 15-3-04.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
