During the investigation, officers spoke with Tomas-Velazquez, who allegedly identified himself using a different name.

When officers requested identification, they observed a third identity listed on a document that appeared fraudulent, police reported.

After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Tomas-Velazquez about the discrepancies, police filed a criminal complaint in Magisterial District Court 15-3-04 on Oct. 7.

An arrest warrant was issued one week later, on Oct. 14, and remains active under docket number MJ-15304-CR-0000229-2026.
