DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania has announced that water main construction will necessitate the closure of Providence Road in Upper Darby Township and Yeadon Borough starting Friday, January 17. The project, which is scheduled to continue through Friday, March 14, will impact weekday traffic from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

During this period, Providence Road will be closed between Hilldale Road and Lansdowne Avenue. A detour route will guide motorists to use Oak Avenue, Baltimore Avenue, and Lansdowne Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
