WYOMISSING, PA — Wyomissing police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in connection with an alleged scrap metal theft reported Sunday in the borough.
According to the Wyomissing Police Department, the alleged theft occurred Aug. 23 in the 500 block of Spring Street.
Police released an image of an individual investigators consider a person of interest in the case. Authorities have not identified the individual or announced any charges.
Anyone who recognizes the person or has information about the individual’s identity is asked to contact the Wyomissing Police Department at 610-375-6102.
Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Alert Berks by calling 877-373-9913 or texting 847411. Text messages should begin with the word “ALERTBERKS.”
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
