PHOENIXVILLE, PA — All Chester County residents and businesses are invited to a free shred event this Saturday, October 26, 2024, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. hosted by Benchmark Federal Credit Union at their Phoenixville branch.
“Invite your friends, family and neighbors – anyone in our community,” said Daniel J. Machon, Jr., President and CEO of Benchmark Federal Credit Union. “We’ll be there to help you unload your heavy documents, and you can watch as it’s all shredded by our professional partners at Wiggins Shredding.”
This event is free to all. Monetary donations are being accepted for Health Care Access Phoenixville, which connects uninsured and underinsured residents of the Greater Phoenixville area with specialized health care services.
The free shred event is at Benchmark Federal Credit Union’s Phoenixville branch at Starr Street Village, 785 Starr Street, Phoenixville, PA, 19460. Benchmark Federal Credit Union is the only federal credit union to exclusively serve Chester County.
In addition, Benchmark Federal Credit Union will host a Meet & Greet event at their Main Office (1522 McDaniel Drive, West Chester, PA) on Friday, November 1, 2024, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. There will be free hotdogs, pretzels and sodas, along with drawings to win an Eagles golf umbrella and a $50 Wawa gift card.
