EXTON, PA — An afternoon of creativity, connection, and community support is coming to Exton as Mazi Adoption and Family Services opens its doors for a special Foster Care Awareness Month celebration.

Designed to bring families together while building greater understanding of foster care, adoption, and kinship care, the event offers a welcoming space for both those directly impacted and community members looking to learn more and get involved.

Throughout the open-house style gathering, families can take part in a variety of hands-on activities aimed at engaging children and creating meaningful moments. From sand art and crafts to temporary tattoos, the event is centered on fun, creativity, and connection.

A standout feature of the day will be the One Simple Wish “Love, Hope, Joy Delivered” mobile van experience. This interactive component invites youth and families to write messages of encouragement, receive thoughtful gifts, and share personal wishes—creating a powerful, hands-on way to spread kindness and support.

In addition to activities, attendees can enjoy raffles, refreshments, and a sweet treat with the addition of Pelican Sno-Balls, making the afternoon both meaningful and memorable.

Organizers say the event is about more than just a day of fun—it’s about reducing stigma, raising awareness, and connecting families with resources and support systems that can make a lasting difference.
