Route 29 Closure in Phoenixville for Film Production Expected to Cause Delays

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Apple Studios will close Route 29 (State Road/Main Street) in Phoenixville Borough and Schuylkill Township on May 29 and 30.

The closure will occur from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM the following morning between Anderson Avenue and Russell Road. During this time, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Nutt Road/Valley Forge Road), Whitehorse Road, and Pothouse Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists should allow extra time when traveling near the area as backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
