PennDOT said a lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 30 between Airport Road and Route 340 (Kings Highway) during overnight hours as crews continue work under a $9.3 million pavement improvement project.
The restrictions are scheduled nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning between Monday, June 1, and Friday, June 5.
No detour has been announced, but motorists should expect reduced traffic capacity through the work zone and possible slowdowns during active construction periods.
The paving project is designed to extend the life of the western section of the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass through milling, base repairs, asphalt overlay, rumble strip installation, and new pavement markings.
Drivers traveling through the corridor during overnight hours should plan extra time, remain alert for changing traffic patterns, and consider alternate routes if delays develop.
All scheduled work is weather dependent.
