Man Wounded as Wilmington Shooting Probe Intensifies

WILMINGTON, DE — A 31-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting Tuesday night in Wilmington, according to police.

The Wilmington Police Department reported officers responded at approximately 9:23 p.m. July 14 to the 2300 block of North Carter Street, where they located a 31-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

According to investigators, the victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Police have not released information about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details are expected to be released as they become available.
