PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Music, memory, and community connection will take center stage this summer as Good Vibrations for a Cure returns to The Colonial Theatre for its second annual fundraiser supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.

Inspired by the emotional power of Brian Wilson’s music and the lasting connection between music and memory, the event aims to create a compassionate and uplifting space for families, caregivers, artists, and community members impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related illnesses.

Organizers say the growing grassroots event is about more than fundraising—it is about bringing people together through creativity, healing, and shared experiences.

A Day Centered on Music and Meaning

Planned programming throughout the day will include live musical performances, wellness and movement sessions, local artists, storytelling experiences, raffles, and a silent auction.

Attendees can also take part in music-and-memory themed activities, caregiver support engagement, and community reflection experiences designed to encourage healing and connection.

The event was founded by Katie Webb, who created Good Vibrations for a Cure as a way to honor the emotional role music can play in the lives of individuals affected by cognitive decline.

Organizers say the fundraiser continues to grow thanks to support from local musicians, wellness practitioners, businesses, artists, and advocacy groups throughout Chester County and the greater Philadelphia region.

Building a Community Tradition

The event is expected to attract a broad mix of attendees, including Beach Boys and Brian Wilson fans, caregivers, arts supporters, wellness advocates, and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting awareness initiatives, caregiver resources, advocacy, education, and research efforts.
