WAYNE, PA — Palvella Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PVLA) Chief Executive Officer Wes Kaupinen will appear at two healthcare investor conferences in September, giving investors two near-term opportunities to hear from the clinical-stage biotech as it advances experimental treatments for rare skin diseases and vascular malformations.
Kaupinen, Palvella’s founder and CEO, is scheduled for a fireside chat at the Cantor Global Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 1:35 p.m. ET, the company stated.
He will also give a corporate presentation at the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at noon ET.
The appearances come as Palvella develops a pipeline built around its QTORIN platform, including lead candidate QTORIN 3.9% rapamycin anhydrous gel.
The topical therapy is being developed for microcystic lymphatic malformations, cutaneous venous malformations and clinically significant angiokeratomas. Palvella describes those indications as serious rare conditions for which there are no U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved therapies.
A second candidate, QTORIN pitavastatin, is being developed for disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis.
Live webcasts of both investor appearances will be available through the Events & Presentations section of Palvella’s website at www.palvellatx.com. Replays are expected to remain available for about 90 days after each event.
