EXTON, PA — The Hankin Invitational raised a record $420,000 for Handi-Crafters at its 40th annual golf tournament on Oct. 5, providing funding for employment training and support services benefiting more than 300 people with disabilities annually in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The fundraiser, organized by real estate developer Hankin Group and co-sponsored by Bentley Systems (NASDAQ: BSY), drew more than 220 participants and 95 corporate sponsors to Whitford Country Club in Chester County.

The latest proceeds bring the tournament’s cumulative fundraising total to more than $3.4 million since 2014, supporting Handi-Crafters’ employment programs and efforts to help individuals with disabilities develop workplace skills.

The funding is particularly important to the nonprofit’s operating budget, helping offset financial shortfalls and supplement federal resources used to sustain its services.

April Ennis-Pierson, executive director of Handi-Crafters, said the contributions will help the organization expand employment opportunities and strengthen its programs.

“Their generosity allows us to expand opportunities, strengthen our programs, and make a lasting difference in the lives of more than 300 individuals we serve each year,” Ennis-Pierson said.

Handi-Crafters provides employment-focused services and skills development for people with disabilities, with the tournament serving as a recurring source of financial support.

Bob Hankin, president and chief executive officer of Hankin Group, credited the event’s continuing support to corporate sponsors and participants who return annually.

The sold-out tournament included a helicopter ball drop involving 1,200 golf balls, along with golf competitions and other fundraising activities.

Brian Hoskins Ford sponsored a Ford Bronco grand prize, while Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester sponsored food and beverages at the course’s Half-Way House.

The 2026 event marked four decades of fundraising through the Hankin Invitational, which has developed into a longstanding partnership between the region’s business community and Handi-Crafters.

For the nonprofit, the annual contributions help maintain employment and disability support services while providing resources beyond its federal funding.
