PARKESBURG, PA — Renee L. Washington, a 42-year-old woman, has been taken into custody on multiple felony retail theft charges following two alleged incidents at a local Grocery Outlet.
According to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department, the thefts reportedly occurred on January 17 and January 18, 2025. Authorities investigated the incidents and subsequently arrested Washington.
Following her arrest on January 18, Washington was transported to Chester County Prison, where she is being held pending a preliminary hearing at District Court 15-3-07.
Police have confirmed that Washington faces charges of felony retail theft and related offenses.
Officials remind the public that all charges are allegations, and defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
