WILMINGTON, DE — A 47-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Wilmington, according to police.
Wilmington police said the shooting occurred at approximately 12:51 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Third Street.
Officers located a 47-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. He was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating the shooting and said additional details will be released when available.
