PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help identifying multiple individuals in connection with a vehicle vandalism investigation after 16 parked vehicles had their windows smashed during the early morning hours Tuesday.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on July 28 along the 4800 block of North 12th Street.
Investigators said surveillance video shows a vehicle, believed to be a black Honda sedan, traveling northbound on North 12th Street. Police allege an unidentified male leaned out of the passenger-side window and broke the windows of 16 vehicles parked along the east side of the block.
According to investigators, city camera footage tracked the vehicle after the incident before it was last seen traveling southbound on the 5000 block of Camac Street.
